A Dog Tag for Zelda

I have spent a more than most people would consider sane amount of time trying to find a dog tag for Zelda. I figured they’d be all over Ebay or something. Just a tag in the shape of a triforce or something that says Zelda on it.

Well my good friend Daniel showed me something today, damned if it wasn’t like seeing a legendary treasure that was only a subject of bedtime stories and passed-down legends.

On the back it has a triforce… a freaking TRIFORCE!

I must have this, or one of its kind. Daniel is on it for me, please keep this courageous young soul in your thoughts as he carries out his quest.

New Site on the Way!

For those of you incapable of reading bold titles, I have decided to redesign my site- it’s just too damn old. For instance, I took the picture you see above this about a year after that girl-leaving breakdown thing happened… after I died my hair black. Fun times. Anyways, the site is definately in need of a new look, so over the next few weeks I’ll be fumbling with that and hopefully can have it up by July.

In the mean time, I’ve decided to start a charity drive. What shall we be donating to you ask? Well after careful consideration I’ve chosen:

The 1st Annual
Jeff Needs a New Keyboard
but He’s Broke
Drive
Sounds pathetic, but I’ve fallen that far down the financial ladder. I’ll brush up on that when I finish up on that novel I’m writing about the last year of my life. Anyways, I’ve had this Microsoft Intelli for pushing 6 or 7 years now, and some of the keys are starting to stick. I also wouldn’t be suprised to find that lurking beneath the keys is some undiscovered earth-destroying virus, or other mutated forms of specimens that need to be sent off to… wherever they send those things.

What’s in it for you? Well I met with our production staff (I, myself, and the me crew) and we tossed around some ideas. I want to have a message board, file-sharing, all that good stuff that allows this website to be something for you guys as well. Anywho. That’s that. So if you have spare change, feel free to use this little thingy that PayPal so generously provides for it’s something-billion clients.

Until next time,

Back to School Among Other Things

As promised, here are some pictures of me and my nephew, Brent. The kid has already impacted my life tremendously and I’m so excited about getting to watch the little guy grow up.

Zelda is doing just fine. In fact, I think she’s a little spoiled.

I wish I could sleep like that.

Moving right along… I started back in school about… 9 hours ago. I’m actually very excited about it. School didn’t work out so well for me, rather, I didn’t work out so well for school last semester, and I’m actually really happy to having something that I don’t want to do but have to that will keep me busy and on track. As last Spring prooved to me, having a mass of time on your hands and absolutely nothing to occupy it with can lead to a very shitty time in your life.

Speaking of busy:

Today I auditioned for what looks to be a very promising rising pop star. I don’t want to tell you too much about it yet, because nothing is set in stone, but my friend Aaron is currently playing drums for her band and they are looking for a rhythm guitarist / keyboard / vocalist to help add more sound to her live performances. It went really well and I’m pretty sure I “got the job” but like I said, it’s too soon for me to be getting anyone excited about me playing for a younger version of Britney Spears. I really don’t mean that in a degrading manner because the girl is actually quite talented. She has a very nice voice and her songs are catchy as hell… I just can’t say that it’s the kind of thing I listen to. Still, it’s an awesome opportunity and if all goes well, I’ll be traveling throughout the U.S. as part of her band, opening for names like Widespread Panic, Better Than Ezra, and Tyler Hilton (some of the people she’s opened for, the full list is actually even longer and more impressive). Anyways, I’m going to start practicing with the band this week, and hopefully I’ll be on the road (possibly near you) living the road life of a rock star- and from what Aaron tells me about their road trips, I’m not kidding.

Anyways, time to go … blah … study.
