A Better Understanding of Alcoholics

Today marks the first break in my so-far eleven day binge. At this point, I can’t say that this is a good thing. As the late Garth from Wayne’s World would say, “I feel all, weird.”

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. My day consisted of drinking, playing golf, (terribly might I add,) drinking, eating a Totino’s frozen pizza, drinking, and hanging out with friends. Some things have come up lately, and I was just not in the proper state to put on a happy face and go visit the family. So what else did I do over my vacation? Well, the specifics are a little blurry, but I know that I took my binge to double digits- ah yeah, the big One-One. With the help of my buddies Heineken, Guinness, and Captain Morgin- I reached a new level. I had a pretty nice keg party at the hizzouse on Friday night. Lots of people came to drink beer and eat all of my food. All in all, it was a pretty fun night. My only regret is not calling Dread at 3-o-clock in the morning to tell him (among other things) how much he sucks and that I hate him.

So I’m going to be starting a band pretty soon- I’ve been writing quite a bit lately, and as soon as I can decipher my drunken jibberish, I might actually turn it into music. As far as starting out goes, I’ve fortunately (throughout the years) met a good number of people who can help me learn the ropes of things and get started.

Anyways, I had some of my jibberish sent in to my buddy who is a forensic expert. After 6 hours of intense deciphering, he was able to translate what I wrote. I’ll leave you with a little snippit. I guess it’s a good synopsis of the last eleven days

i head to the bar
to find relief
among my comrades of affliction
we toast to our pain
and fill our drinks again

Until next time,

-Jethro
